This week I went to London for a few days! I had a wonderful time, visiting everywhere from Notting Hill to Camden to Regent’s Park!
My trip to London has been the perfect combination of vintage hunts and tourist attractions! Here’s some photos of what I got up to:
Having a browse on Portabello Road.
The View from The Shard (and looking a little gormless)
Record shopping.
Wandering around Westminster.
In cupcake heaven at Lola’s.
I had a look in plenty of vintage shops and markets for inspiration! Over the five days, I saw some lovely vintage and will be keeping this in mind when next sourcing pieces for The Vintage Wardrobe.
I found this amazing cafe off Brick Lane, with a vintage shop downstairs. Inside the shop there was no shortage of beautiful vintage dating as far back as the Edwardian times. The shop had many stunning 20s dresses that wouldn’t look out of place in an episode of Boardwalk Empire!
Doesn’t it look lovely?
On Friday, I went to Brighton. I love it there! I live by the sea, so naturally I gravitate towards any seaside town or city. There’s something so relaxing about a walk on the beach, with the sun shining down.
I visited the Biba and Beyond exhibition for a second time, which was still so inspiring! It’s safe to say, I wanted almost everything in there, including this polka dot suit and sleeveless dress!
I had a fantastic time visiting London, now I’m happy to be back home!
