It’s Spring! Well, technically. Considering it’s a new season, the weather’s been a little temperamental here in Lancashire. It’s rainy one morning, then sunny in the afternoon, but there’s been a noticeable change in temperature, which means Summer’s on it’s way! (I hope)
Weather forecast’s aside, it’s time to start getting that Spring/Summer wardrobe together! So put those thick coats away and get brighter colours on, because the next few months are an exciting time for fashion!
As I’m planning my own Spring wardrobe, it seemed appropriate to choose my favourite pieces from The Vintage Wardrobe too! This Spring/Summer the early 70s are everywhere, as are florals. Over the past 70 years, florals have been massive and adapted to reflect the time. There’s something incredibly timeless about a floral print, they might not be the most original thing ever (Miranda Priestly certainly doesn’t find them impressive) but if it’s not broke and all that.
So without further ado, here’s my Spring favourites in the wardrobe. Let the floral overload commence:
Floral Statement Collar Shirt – Shop here
Floral Linen Blazer – Shop here
Corduroy Cheesecloth Maxi – Shop here
Lemon Shift Suit – Shop here
Floral Peter Pan Coat – Shop here
Have you started planning your Spring wardrobe yet? There’s some stunning 60s-90s pieces in the wardrobe! Why not treat yourself?
Sending lots of vintage love,
